Meet Our Management Team

Randall B. Smith: CSP, President
Randall Smith partnered with The Craig Company in 2001. With over 16 years of industry experience, he brought a volume builder approach of successful marketing, operating and land acquisition strategies when he joined the company. As Broker and Vice President at his previous organization, sales grew from $30 million to $75 million dollars in just five years. Under Randall's sales growth, this company became the largest Nashville homebuilder in 1999. In the same year, he was named the "National Sales Manager of the Year" by the National Sales and Marketing Council of the National Association of Homebuilders. After joining The Craig Company, sales increased 200 percent, jumping from $5 million to $15 million dollars in just two years. Randall's primary focus is on creating successful marketing and product strategies to further sales. He is a graduate of David Lipscomb University with a B.S. in Business Management and Administration. Randall is a member of the National Sales and Marketing Council, serves on the Board of Cool Springs Christian Ministries, and is on the Advisory Board for Mercy Ministries of America. He lives in Franklin with his wife Sonya and their three daughters.

Corey W. Craig: Vice President
In 1998, Corey Craig co-founded The Craig Company with his father, Lloyd Craig. Corey grew up surrounded by the family homebuilding enterprise and formed his own company, Corey Craig Homes, when he was just 17 years old. In 1998 Corey became the youngest Broker and Contractor licensed in the state of Tennessee. Corey has built custom homes and townhomes in the Franklin and South Nashville communities since 1998. While assembling commercial and residential land transactions in excess of $15 million dollars, Corey also managed a portfolio of over $3 million dollars in residentially leased property in Franklin. Corey has assisted The Craig Company in establishing, purchasing and operating strategies, although his primary focus is managing the land acquisition and development operations. Under Corey's direction, the company has successfully secured future land positions to sustain its rapid growth. Corey is a graduate of Belmont University with a B.S. in Business Management and Administration. He and his wife Megan reside in Franklin with their two children.

Lloyd H. Craig: Secretary
In 1998, Lloyd co-founded The Craig Company with his son, Corey. Lloyd is recognized for his numerous quality developments in Franklin, Nolensville and South Nashville, building over 400 quality homes upon moving to Nashville in 1989. Best known for his upscale quality and integrity in building methods, Lloyd also holds 32 years of development and construction experience with single and multi-family homes. Lloyd is a former founder and Chairman of the Board of South Coast Contractors and NYCON Inc. While in Louisiana, Lloyd developed joint venture projects, creating revenues up to $50 million dollars annually a success story during the state's "Boom or Bust" period. Accumulating a myriad of successful operating strategies in various economic climates, Lloyd focuses on managing the financial aspects of The Craig Company along with his daughter, Amber and wife Kayla, who is also a principal with the company. The couple has four children who grew up in the business and have all found success in the building industry. Lloyd and Kayla reside in Franklin and enjoy their eight grandchildren.
